He stole her lyrics, and then he stole her heart.
Lyric Cassidy is off the tour, lost as to what her next career move will be, and certain that she’ll never love again after Wolf. All because of a social media scandal that left her with no choice but to pack up and face the consequences. When she learns that the fate of her career is in her hands, she has a difficult decision to make. Step back on the tour bus with Wolf and deal with the mess she left behind, or end her contract early and lose her job at Perform Live?
Wolf’s shattered heart finds no resolve in giving Lyric a chance to come back on tour. He can never be with her again. Not after she walked away. Conflicted with wants and needs, he struggles to remember who Wolf was before Lyric. That’s what he needs to become again. Maybe then his heart will be safe. Or maybe there’s no hope for the damaged.

Destined Hearts is the second and final book in KK Allen’s A Stolen Melody Duet. It picks up where the last book ended. Both are hurting deeply, especially Wolf, who can’t understand why Lyric has left him. Lyric because deep down she knows walking away from Wolf, it’s the last thing she wanted to do as Wolf is her world and has her heart, but trust issues and secrets from her childhood are getting in the way.
“I know my Lyric. My heart still beats for her. My heart still belongs to her.”
The storyline didn’t disappoint. It was fast paced, sexy, romantic, entertaining and engaging. There were plenty of unexpected twists and turns, which meant that it was not predictable. I especially loved the 30%, which kept me reading way past my bedtime.
Wolf and Lyric relationship may have gone through some ups and downs, but it’s clear to see they are hot together and make beautiful music together. Their connection, chemistry and passion are palpable. There is no question as to how much they adored each other, wanted each other and needed each other.
“I can feel it. Our energy sparking the air. Two dangerous souls finding a match in each other. It’s clear out love is more intense than ever.”
“It’s funny how fighting for someone you love gives you more strength than fighting for yourself.”
Love what KK Allen has done with the final part of Lyric and Wolf’s story and the epilogue was just sweet and perfect. Again, it was well written, the characters are likeable, well some are there were a few I wanted to punch. Written from both POVs means you get to know what they are thinking and get to feel their emotions.
The Stolen Melody Duet series is a rock star romance that you should one-click today. I can assure you; this very talented author won’t disappoint you.
