Woo Hoo!! One of my favourite authors Aven Ellis is back with a new book and a brand new series. Green Tea Latte To Go is the first book in her Life, Love & Lattes series. I’m a big fan of Green Tea, so I knew that was a good sign. Instead of a hot hockey player we have a hot, British, exotic vet called Brooks, who has caught the eye of Seattle blogger, Payton James.
Payton loves being a blogger and is doing all she can to make it successful, but her family thinks she is wasting her time being a blogger. Brookes loves being an exotic vet, it’s a job that he is very passionate about, but this has caused problems previous relationship so it has left him curious about starting new relationships.
I really enjoyed the story, it was full of Aven Ellis’s sparkle. It was funny, cute, entertaining and endearing. Payton and Brooks are both likeable characters, and when they meet, the attraction is instant. It was interesting learning about the life as an exotic vet and a full-time blogger. Being British myself, of course, I loved that Brookes was from my own homeland and that Paton was a massive fan of our royal family, especially Duchess Kate.
There were some fun secondary characters that added to the story such as scene-stealer Mr. Not Bacon. Brookes assistance I adored her it was like we were kindred spirits and I was so glad that she got her HEA.
As always I read most of this book with a big smile on my face and the ending was perfect. Green Tea Latte To Go is a must read for all Aven Ellis fans.
