Bri’s Most Anticipated Releases of 2016

As 2015 was a different kind of reading year for me, my most anticipated 2016 releases are a mix of things. I’ve got five books on this list (I’m sure I’m forgetting some). Either way, there are a variety of genres here, and I hope I will get you interested in some of these series.

1) Magic Binds (Kate Daniels, Book#9) by Ilona Andrews

**Cover to be revealed!**

Expected publication date, September 27 2016 by ACE
It’s always a treat whenever a new Kate Daniels novel comes out. I love the world the authors have created in this series with magic and tech vying for dominance. Of course, the characters of Kate, Curran, and all the rest are what really make this series the awesome thing that it is.

2) Once Broken Faith (October Daye, Book#10) by Seanan McGuire

**Cover to be revealed!**

Expected publication date, September 2016 by DAW
I love books with Fae in them, and nobody does this better to me than Seanan McGuire. Plus, Toby just grew so much throughout these nine books. And of course, there’s Tybalt. I love him.

Expected publication date, May 31, 2016 by Avon.
Historical romance is my new favorite thing, and Lisa Kleypas is a much-beloved author. This series is what made me a fan of hers. Real issues, very different couples, and the ability to take an utterly unlikable character and redeem them are what make her works stand out.

4) Gemina (The Illuminae FIles, Book#2) by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

**Cover to be revealed!**

Expected publication, Fall 2016 by Knopf Books for Young Readers
The first book in this series was one of the most-hyped books of 2015, and I definitely agreed with all those who loved it. The authors have created an awesome world, and the way in which book one was told was incredible. I mean, they made me think I understood a computer!! The way book one ended, I seriously can’t wait for book two.

scot5) A Scot in the Dark (Scandal and Scoundrel, Book#2) by Sarah MacLean

Sarah MacLean’s A Rogue by Any Other Name was what got me hooked on the genre. Her characters are unique, and the plots of her books are always interesting. This series is no exception. I recently read the first book, and am excited for more.

And there you have it, my most anticipated 2016 releases. Or rather, the 2016 releases I could think of as of this writing. Either way, these are the books I can’t wait to read, and plan to devour the second they’re released.
